Chrissy Teigen's travel plans hit a very big snag.

On Tuesday, the model and TV personality was on a flight leaving Los Angeles en route to Tokyo when it became apparent that the plane's course had changed unexpectedly after an unauthorised passenger was discovered on board.

Teigen, along with her husband John Legend, was among the 266 passengers on board All Nippon Airways Flight 175. The 32-year-old live-tweeted the whole ordeal in a stream of dramatic tweets, to the shock and delight of her fans.

“A flying first for me: 4 hours into an 11 hour flight and we are turning around because we have a passenger who isn't supposed to be on this plane,” she tweeted. “Why … why do we all gotta go back, I do not know.”
